Celebrate: Book Sale and Freebies

This week I'm celebrating:
My book is on sale for 99 cents!

  • The sale starts Saturday the 18th and goes until Oct 31st.  Save $5 off the regular price and get a creepy and exciting read that's perfect for Halloween!

  • I'm also celebrating some good TV: "The Strain." (Yeah, we get stuff late over here.)  I'm not a huge fan of vamps, but this series does a great twist on them, and the FX are excellent!
  • Not to forget about work - I finished Ch 11 this week. Yay!

Anyone got a TV series they're loving this fall?

I can't wait to see how many extra copies you sell with the price drop! And how timely, with Halloween coming up. The perfect time for a creepy read.

Hope it does really well at that price. It should spike on the charts big time.

Lots to celebrate, Lexa! Hope your sale is a huge success.

I've started watching The Strain, but didn't like it all that much. The characters aren't always behaving realistically and there's some bad acting in it as well :(

Congrats on your book sale! I'm having one too. :) There must be something in the air . . .

Great celebrations! I'm enjoying Haven . . . via Netflix so I'm behind. I'm all caught up on Once Upon a Time, too. I'm a fan of the fantastic in tv as well as books so those shows work for me. :)

Best of luck with the Soul Cutter sale. That's a great book for Halloween.

Hope the sale goes well. And yes, the Strain is one of my favorites.

yay for your book! So far this season I've been uber disappointed in TV (this from a self-proclaimed TV ADDICT)...I basically only watch shows like The Voice, and then DVR the comedies that have been hit or miss for me lately (Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, etc)

Good luck on the sale-99 cents is a steal. I love Grimm and now I am into Forever-quite good and not nasty evil

We don't get the Strain up here. Can't say as there's any show that I love this season. I was hoping there would be. I'm finding myself going for Netflix more and more. Love those British series. Thanks for the sale! It makes my ole heart happy when I can afford more books.

I'm going to pop over and grab your book. I am pathetically behind on TV. Just started Breaking Bad. Still gotta catch up on American Horror Story and Orange is the New Black. My guilty pleasure was binge watching the last season of How I Met Your Mother. Happy Halloween.

A Halloween sale is brilliant. I hope it does very well, Lex. :)

I love a creepy read and just in time for Halloween! I'm binge watching Gilmore Girls. (I did a little thing on my blog about it:) Hope your book does well.

I'll definitely pick myself up a copy and put it on my TBR list! Thank you so much for posting these specials on your blog.

It's one of the only ways I get to enjoy reading good books (and keep them) most of the time since I'm now on a limited income.

Thanks again for sharing! Hugs always. Eva

Good sale!
As for fall TV shows?
I'm watching Boardwalk Empire, Sleepy Hollow, Forever, old episodes of Orphan Black and Freak Show (American Horror Story).

Carol Kilgore said...

I missed getting over here last week. Going to tweet your sale now.

Julie Flanders said...

I hope your sale is a big hit! Perfect for Halloween. Will tweet about it too.

Sherry Ellis said...

Hope you sell a lot of extra copies. This is a great time for a sale for your book!

I watched a few episodes of The Strain, but I finally dropped it. It annoys me when shows have all the supposedly brilliant characters doing really dumb things to move the plot forward.

Most of the shows this season have been pretty mediocre, but I'm actually really enjoying The Flash, Jane the Virgin, and Black-ish. All three of them have brought the fun back to primetime rather than being so dour and serious.

I bought one! Even though I don't normally read horror. LOL I know you're a talented author. I loved reading your chapters on our writing forum, so I'm curious about that book. Good luck with the sale!
