Celebrate: The Purrrrfect Gift!

My best friends here in Egypt, Lucy and Alaa, got me the cutest gift ever! They were worried about me -- afraid I was feeling sad and alone in my flat -- so they got me a kitten!  She's an adorable little brown tabby with blue eyes, which I've never seen on a tabby before. She's only about 4 months old, and she's a bundle of energy. I can barely keep up with her!

It's absolutely impossible not to smile when you have an adorable little ball of fluff purring or playing near you. So I have to hand it to my friends -- BEST GIFT EVER!!

Hi LEXA!

SHE IS ADORABLE!!!!! Such nice friends! Glad you are smiling again. I know it has been so rough for you lately. Now you have a new little bundle of fluff in your life to keep you going. Our fur babies are the best! God put them here on this earth just for that purpose. To keep us company and have something to love and for that love to be returned endlessly.....

That's fabulous. Kittens have a way of making your life so much better. I know mine have! And I guess you got your internet back too, so another thing to celebrate!

OMG! That is so sweet and it is wonderful to hear them purr and sleep near you. Is that his picture in the little bowl? What is his name or..is it her?? We have 4 plus a dog and they can be a handful but when I come home and the dog comes to me and 2 of the cats especially the one with a great vocal range, my heart melts. I can't wait to hear some of the hijinks the little scamp gets into

Oh so cute! Kitties are the best therapy in the world. Our house was so empty between Rocko's passing and Star and Rocket's arrival.
