Celebrate: Done & Tons of Giveaways!

This week I'm celebrating:
1) I'm finally done with revisions of Bloodwalker!  Yay!  (It now goes out to a final CP and a few betas.)
2) I promise, no more squawking about the book -- for a while anyway.  But I may have a Vote For The Cover poll in January, and I hope to release it in March. :)
3) To celebrate my accomplishment, I've found tons of giveaways for you!! (bottom of post)

When you finish a big project, do you do anything special to celebrate?

Congrats on finishing up your book! That's really great. I hope I'll be making such an announcement next year.

Big Congrats! How exciting. Agree with TF. Walsh - you deserve a break.

Congrats on finishing! Usually, I collapse back in my chair and say, "Thank God THAT'S over!" Though it should technically be "that part's over", since there's almost always a next step. Enjoy the weekend!

Congratulations on getting finished! You can send it to me whenever you want.... I tend to celebrate finishing by taking a break for a week or so before moving on to the next project.

What a lot of giveaways!

Awesome work. I can't wait to see the cover. I sometimes go to my favorite restaurant if I want to celebrate.

Congratulations on finishing the editing. Hope everything goes smoothly from this point onwards. And as ever thank you for the giveaways.

What an unselfish way to celebrate completion! I merely go out for dinner, sometimes with a friend, to save myself having to cook for one night; if I'm alone, I allow myself to read over dinner, something I had no time for before.

For a huge celebration, I have been known to take out my family for a high tea at Melbourne's Windsor Hotel, where they seat you at a table with a pristine cloth and a crammed cake stand with both sweet and savoury treats and a bottomless cup of coffee or tea. On weekends you also get to follow this up with a groaning buffet of sweet things(wasted on me, I'm afraid, I have a tendency to finish with fruit salad and maybe a scoop of vanilla ice cream, after that laden stand of goodies!) They ask you what you're celebrating and give a special cupcake to the person being honoured. That is MY way of celebrating!

Congratulations! My treat when i actually do something is often a cup of coffee from a coffee place, instead of making my own. Yes, i know, big spender, big celebrater!

Congrats on finishing revisions. It's no small feat. I do a quick snoopy dance before moving on to the next task: marketing and promotions. Oh. Joy.

Good luck!!! :-D

Yay for finished edits. Good for you. Now celebrate.
When I "finish" edits, I usually work on another story that I've been neglecting. The cats and I might play a game of roll the ball, other than that, we just do our usual thing. Cats sleep. I type.
And that's a lot of giveaways. Thanks. Have a nice weekend.

Lexa, congrats on the revision completion of Bloodwalker! I know that's a good feeling. I can't wait to see what book covers you come up with to go with your newest story. Let me know, if I can do anything to help in promoting your work. I'm enjoying my little break over Thanksgiving. Life's blessings are best spent with some down time to simply relax and soak it all up. Thanks for stopping by and I plan to be back on track next week.

Nice work Lexa. When I finish a project, I just start another one. I'm holding my celebrations fro when I finally crack some serious sales. I'm currently nearing the end of the first draft of what will be novel number 5. I've been working on it for a year now. Good luck with Bloodwalker.

Congratulations! Usually if I finish a big project I reward myself with some time off and some binge watching of the many shows I'm trying to catch up on before I hear/see any more spoilers!

Congratulations on finishing your book! Usually after completing a big project, I feel a little sad. I hate saying good-bye to my fictional friends.

Yay! When I finished SW (or thought I did), I cleaned my office. Not really a celebration, but it was more of a cleansing to prepare for the new project. You should do something fun. Next time I finish I want to do something fun.
