Glad you've cooled off a little! Summer has gone way to fast for me. Back to the day job next week :)

Opposite side of the world! Here it's getting in for spring, the dates are getting longer and I've seen to first jonquils in my mother's garden. :-)

You're lucky to get some cooling relief. Things have only gotten hotter and drier where I live! Have a great weekend. :)

Glad things have cooled off a little. I know how much you hate the heat. I'm kind of in the opposite position right now; I'm so over winter. It's starting to feel way too long. And I don't even like summer that much!

Enjoy the cooler temperatures and let's hope they last. It's been pouring rain here for the past week. I could do with a bit of sunshine:)

We cooled down here as well!
Thanks for mentioning Dragon's Destiny.

Still hot in Texas, but next week is supposed to go down to the low 90s. I do love summer, but fall is just around the corner.

Leandra Wallace said...

Yeah, I can only imagine what the heat must be like in Egypt. Think I'll just stick w/my good ol' humidity over here. =)

It's cooler here in upper Michigan as well. Which is nice since we have some visiting nuns at our parish that are making visits to people in our parish and we don't want them to melt in the heat!
It's nice to be able to do this blog hop and visit some new blogs.

I want to read Dragon's Destiny. It sounds super interesting!

I keep hearing people say, 'Have you had a good summer?' as though it's an entity like Christmas or a birthday. For those of us who haven't had any time off for months, this is extremely annoying! I'm glad the temperature has dropped for you to something slightly more manageable - I had to dig out some socks this morning. *Sigh*

This week has been around 22 C and I love it! Unfortunately, next week back the scorching heat. I enjoy cooler weather so i will be happy and I only have fur babies so they don't go to school but some need training! The water gun has come out on our newest pussy cat.

I'm glad you're not burning. For me, it's been raining so hard all day that I nearly got swept away by a miniature river in front of my house when I was getting the kids out the door for school. Weather sure can keep us on our toes, can't it?

Thanks for promoting my books!

So glad you're cooling off. We did too, but it's back up next week. The end of summer is always iffy.

Great list of freebies! Good luck to all the authors, LG, Alex, and Medeia!

Well baking is a little better than burning. I'm split on summer being over, but wth, it's not like I can stop fall from coming. lol!

Happy for you that the temperature has cooled down somewhat. Hope it goes even lower.
Thanks for the link to Medeia's giveaway.
This month and next have a lot of freebie stuff. I ordered the 12 books. That's a lot of reading. So much fun.
Have a great weekend.

Glad you're a bit cooler! It's perfect here right now - mid/upper 70's and sliding into Fall. Great list of books and stories this week.

Glad you've gotten some temperature relief. It has been cooler here, too, this past week, with temps in the 70s. I love it. Have a great weekend!

I could use more summer but today it's raining and I hope this helps to put out the fires surrounding us.

I've been enjoying the lessend heat here too. Still warm enough to want the cooler, but not so hot the coolers feels like a warmer :)

That's wonderful. I'm waiting for the temps to cool.

Hi Lexa,

I'm so with you on celebrating getting relief from the heat! It's been in the 100s and high 90s the last few weeks here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This week it dropped down to the high 80s thank goodness.

Take care and have a lovely week!

I was so ready to see the homeschool kids again, it was crazy. I love those guys.

By the way, awesome oven!

LOL - we are still in winter, and while your heat came down ours is coming up to quite nice days. However we are mid-school year.

For us, spring starts officially on September 01... but it's already warming up this side of the continent.
Medeia's cover is HOT. Great title too.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

With how freaking high those temperatures were, almost any cool down is a blessing. And air conditioned indoors are rather nice.

JeffO said...

Woke up this morning and found the temperature in the mid-40s. It's starting to look a little autumny out there. While I love the weather, I'm not sure I'm ready for it just yet! Glad you're a little more comfortable over there.

Cathrina Constantine said...

I'm glad it's not burning in Egypt anymore. Buffalo has already hit the Autumn stage with morning temps in the 50's, and rising to 70's. Not bad.

DMS said...

Glad things are getting at least a little cooler for you. Relief from heat is so important. I am not ready for summer to be over, but mostly because I know the days are about to get darker and that snow will be here much sooner than I want (I do like snow, but wish it only snowed for two months instead of possibly 5-6).

Happy weekend!

Glad the temperature got turned down, baking is so much better than roasting. :)

I want summer back. Big teacher whine about now. ;)

We had a spot of cooling off, and i hope it stays that way for us and especially for you!

Glad it's cooled off. I'm not a fan of hot weather at all.

Good you've finally got some relief from the heat.

Lexa - I stopped bu to say hello, and I'm glad your weather is better. I'll keep Egypt in my thoughts today (smile).

I'm glad things are starting to cool down for you. We're doing the same here in Texas--it's still hot, but not quite as scorching. I'm so ready for fall!

My son went back to school a couple weeks ago, and I'm definitely ready for autumn! It's my fave season :)

I'm grateful for the cooler weather, too.
Holy cats, was it hot this summer!

Sharon Himsl said...

I'm ready for cooler weather, which has definitely arrived here with a storm over the weekend. The sky is finally clear of smoke today.
