Happy Release to Julie & Lexa!!
A brilliant flash of light transcends through time.
Another freezes a cloaked figure within a frame of salty mist as waves crash against a rocky shore. Her harrowing expression shadows the beacon to a pinprick.
By the next blaze, she is gone. Only the lighthouse remains.
Hannah’s eyes blink in step with each heartbeat. Images of her deceased parents and Martha’s Vineyard explode like firecrackers inside her mind.
She shakes her head.
For weeks this eerie woman dressed in nineteenth century garb has been haunting my webcam, but tonight she stared into my soul.
Why? ...
Who is she? ...
Casting aside months of research on historic lighthouses, Hannah drives to the coast and boards a ferry.
What is the strange connection she has to this mysterious woman suspended in time?
Hannah finds out.
But, it’s not at all what she expects ...
Hannah unravels a century old murder.

The Soul Cutter is hunting again.
Seventeen-year-old Élan spends her free time videoing psychic scams and outing them online. Skepticism makes life safe—all the ghosts Élan encounters are fakes. When her estranged mother disappears from a film shoot in Egypt, Élan puts her medium-busting activities on hold and joins the search.
In Egypt, the superstitious film crew sucks at finding her mom. When a hotel guest is killed, whispers start—the locals think their legendary Soul Cutter has come back from the dead. Élan's only ally is Ramsey, a film-crew intern, but he’s arrogant, stubborn—and hiding dangerous secrets.
When Élan discovers the Soul Cutter is no scam, she finds herself locked in a deadly battle against a supernatural killer with more than her mother’s life at stake.
Élan is fighting for her very soul.

Yep, Scotland is certainly beautiful! And I prefer to think of Sean Connery as Indy's dad too! Huge congrats to both of you on the release of your novels!
I'd love to visit Scotland too, not only for the scenery, but to hear the Scottish talk.
Great work, Lexa and Julie. Congratulations and much success to both of you. It's well deserved.
xoRobyn
Scotland good choice. I visited, 20 something years ago, and it was beautiful. I went to Loch Ness and Edinburgh. Congrats and very best wishes to you and Julie.
I adore Scotland. If I could live anywhere in the world, it'd be in Scotland (preferably in a haunted castle -- haunted by ghosts that wouldn't kill me). I spent some time in Edinburgh and it was amazing, even though it was raining. SOUL CUTTER IS OUT!! How exciting!! Bought a copy on Amazon <3
Scotland would be just gorgeous to visit one day:) So scenic... perfect. Huge congrats Lexi and Julie... loving your Launch Hop:)
Gorgeous photos of Scotland! It really is a Dream Destination! Congrats Lexa and Julie! Thanks for hosting this wonderful blog-hop! Best of luck on both of your exciting releases!
Julie
Scotland is a great Dream Destination, though anyone used to 360 days of sunshine would catch a nasty cold within hours of stepping off the plane... :) I adore the British Isles and Ireland - the lush rolling hills, the stone houses, the ale!
Oh, and here's my blog hop link!

Congrats! Soul Cutters sounds delicious.
I would love to go to Scotland... I just really want to walk around and listen them speak ;-D
Congratulations on the releases, ladies!
Lexa, you would so dig Scotland. And it's not just the castles. The churches are just as amazing. And walking the Royal Mile in Edinburgh is magical to say the least.
Just take a heavy coat or two, because at night it is COLD!
By the way, feel free to beat me senseless for adding an extra 's' to Soul Cutter
Big day for you! :-) Enjoy the celebration. I haven't yet been to Scotland either and would love to go because I spent a week in Ireland and it was incredible!!! Lots of castles too! And we caught a week with no rain! Amazing! Everything was sooooo lush and gorgeous. So you have to go. And it's Braveheart territory. Love that movie (not sure if it was shot there) even though Mel Gibson's an ass.
Congrats on your release Lexa and Julie! Scotland..LOVE! I, too, would love to visit sometime. Gorgeous castles and history. :) Great destination choice, Lexa.
Hi Lexa,
All the best with the new books and the blog hop. And yes, Scotland's a very romantic country, I've always thought so.
Scotland would definitely be a beautiful and interesting place to visit. I am not sure I could eat their haggis though.
Congratulations on the launch of your book, Lexa. It sounds like a very good read.
Happy Release Day, Lexa!! Congrats! Wow, Scotland. I'd love to go there too. Castles are the coolest. Someday I'd like to travel, right now I can only dream about it.
Oh, Lexa! We want to go to the same place! Where shall we meet? Have a wonderful bloghop. The give-aways look are fabulous.
I need to get to Scotland. Since moving to London, I haven't been yet. I hope you visit. Congrats on the book and thanks so much for you and Julie for putting this blog hop together. Best of luck!
Hi, Lexa,
Congrats on SOUL CUTTER!!!! All the best!… I would love to go to Scotland too. It is on of the few places I haven't traveled to in Europe. Such beautiful countryside and CASTLES!!!
YAY, JULIE…. Happy release day!
Congrats to both of you on your releases.
I can agree with you on the historical aspect of Scotland and Sean Connery. Hope you get to go one day.
Hey, I listed Britain as my dream destination too. I love Scotland, but I'll take any part of the isles that has castles. Congratulations on your book!
Congratulations on your book! Enjoying the blog hop so far - thanks for co-hosting it with Julie. :)
Happy release day! I'd like to visit Scotland. Some of my family was from there.
Excellent choice. And I almost picked Scotland too. I was lucky enough to visit Edinburgh a year and a half ago, but I really want to see the highlands and explore that area more. Some day. :))
And happy release day!!
Oh, I would LOVE to go to Scotland! Great choice!
Happy Hop Day, my friend! :)
Congratulations, Lexa! What an exciting release!
And you and I had similar thoughts on our dream vaca's- I picked Scotland and Ireland! As of right now, Edinburgh may be my favorite place I've ever been to so I would love to go back as part of a broader tour of the amazing castles there! Fingers crossed we both get a dream trips some day.
Congrats again!
Happy Book Birthday, and good luck with the launch!

Congratulations!!!
And yes, yes to Scotland. Sign me up for that trip. :)
Congrats on your release!!!! And yes to Scotland!!! Castles, history, and beauty all in one!
I'll travel just about anywhere to see an authentic castle.
I've never been to Scotland either. It always looks so damp though....
I'd love to go to Scotland. Beautiful, and I could listen to the people talk all day...
Oh, and congrats on the book release!!
Congratulations on your release! I'm more interested in touring Ireland and England, though it would be nice to see Scotland too if I'm ever over there. One of my hiatused WIPs has a section set in Scotland, so it could be good for firsthand research.
What a fantastic choice! My father was born there, and even though I've never been to Scotland, something about that country tugs at my heart. Maybe it's the memories of the stories my grandmother used to tell me... maybe it's because I miss hearing their beautiful brogues so much. Some day... some day...
Good luck with your book!
Great choice. I visited England once and took a day trip into Scotland. We visited - you guessed it - a castle. As much as I like looking at Sean Connery, I loved him as the voice of the dragon in Drangonheart. Whenever I read a book with a dragon in the story, I imagine Sean's voice.
Congratulations to you and to Julie on your release day.
Yay for fun blog hops and RELEASE DAY!!! Congratulations!
Scotland. Mmmmmm. Sean Connery. MMMMMMMMMMMMM! :D
Off to check out more destinations!
Scotland is included in where I want to go! The castles, oh yes. Gorgeous. Thanks for hosting this awesome blog hop. And congratulations on your book launch! :)
I'd go to Scotland for the accents alone:) Congrats on Soul Cutter's launch--may you be showered with rave reviews! So excited for you!
I love castles. They're so beautiful and filled with history. Scotland is one place I'd like to visit too. It's such a fascinating country. Congratulations on your book, Lexa. It looks like a winner.
I'd love to go to Scotland. Especially if I could meet a hunk of a man. Congratulations on your book release.
I thought Scotland would be a popular choice for a lot of us. Edinburgh was a good time and onw of the best vacations I ever took for myself. Love the Destination and great job on the Blog Hop Lexa and Julie. Congratulations on the Book releases!
Congrats on the book release, Lex! Scotland would be amazing. Truth be told, I want to go everywhere. It made choosing one place very difficult. :)
Congrats on your book's release! Scotland would be at the top of my list, too and for the SAME reason! I love castles and I secretly want to meet some Scottish men, lol. ;) Can't get enough of that accent.
Can I come with you to Scotland????
I would have never thought to go to Scotland, but it does sound nice. My dream destination is Japan
Congrats on your book! I loved Scotland. We had only planned to go for 3 nights and only in Edinburgh, but ended up staying about 10 days, and driving way North. Great choice.
I agree, Scotland definitely is beautiful. Great pick, and congrats on the book release! :)
Oh, oh, I have been to Scotland and it is beautiful, and guess what (be prepared to envy me) I've met Sean Connery! Yep... I once worked for Selfridges in London on the perfumery section. He came in and asked about the latest men's fragrances. I ended up taking him around several other men's departments too. He was incredibly cool and a perfect gent. Happy dreams for years after that! :)
Happy release day, Lexa!! How exciting, right?? Welcome to the world of published authors. :)
I adore Scotland. My mom had always dreamt of going since it's the motherland and I took her there about twelve years ago. We went everywhere and it's as gorgeous as you imagine. With ideal British hospitality of course. We stayed in a 13th century castle way up in the highlands for a few nights and it was so poetic. You have to go.
(kinda jealous of Shah above me getting to meet Connery tho...swoon!)
Castles are so cool! Scotland would be a wonderful place to visit!
Happy release day!!!! I just shouted it out on FB. :) Enjoy your day, Lexa!
Happy book birthday!!
Scotland! Oh I'd love to go there too! I hear there's tons of beautiful old castles to explore.

So excited for you, L!!! OMGosh... I've been living under a rock, lately. YAY!!!!! We must do an interview or whatever you'd like.
Scotland is too easily forgotten besides their louder neighbors sometimes. It looks beautiful too. Would love to visit those castles too.
Lexa, congrats on the book release - I'm so excited for you!! And you, too, Julie! And Scotland is on my must-see list, along with Egypt.
Your book sounds awesome, Lexa! Enjoy the new release!
Your new book looks exciting. Thanks for hosting this fun hop.
Lexa, just bought Soul Cutter! Yay!
I'd love to go to Scotland one day!
Congrats, Lexa! :D
We did pick the same place, and it is a wonderful choice =) I didn't even know about Sean Connery... yet another bonus. Also congrats on your release. "Élan is fighting for her very soul."... chilling!!
Ah yes, good choice, Scotland. I shall probably move there if they choose to become an independent nation. I love Scotland and have spent many a lovely time up there. Och aye the noo and well done, you two, Lexa and Julie.
Gary :)
I have always wanted to visit Scotland too! One of my friends went a few months ago and she said it was the most beautiful place she has ever been! I love castles. :)
Congrats to you and Julie!
~Jess
Scotland is already on my bucket list! Happy release day :)
Those castles are beautiful... and maybe Scotland should be added to my list, since I probably have Scottish ancestry somewhere in my bloodline...?
Egypt is also one of my dream destinations, though I didn't mention it... well, I had already mentioned 2 and didn't want to get carried away... LOL
Congrats Lexa and Julie!
As an avid fan of bagpipe music and Scottish flicks like Trainspotting, I agree with you: Scotland rocks!! =)
I would love to go to Scottland someday. Congrats on your release! And congrats to Julie too!
Congrats on the new release. I have been to England and Ireland, but not Scotland. I would love to go and play some golf on those old historical courses.
i love that castle in ur pic! ive actually never been to a castle... the closest would be Castle Loma in Toronto, where i grew up... u should do a google search of it... its pretty amazing, and right smack dab in central Toronto.... a little known gem!
Oh yes, Scotland is definitely on my list. There's a famous castle on a loch I badly want to see, though I can't seem to think of the name. My hubby has been there for work and I was completely jealous. The accent certainly doesn't hurt, either.
The Warrior Muse
A happy release to both of you!
I'd love to visit Scotland.
I'm halfway through Soul Cutter and enjoying it.
You want to go to Scotland and have a novel set in Egypt. Why Lexa, I think you have the soul of a traveler.
Now I'm going to have to look up that castle...I LOVE castles!
I'd like to see those castles someday too; I'm 1/4 Scotch-Irish, so I really should get over there. Congratulations on the release, Lexa!
Very successful Hop! Here's to those two books making their way into the world. Congratulations.
Congrats to both you and Julie! I am sorry I am late to the hop~ I love your pick-it seems so magical!
I love castles-their enchantment of history and fairy tales is so captivating! Nice pick
Best of luck to you and Julie with the books! Thanks for visiting my blog and reminding me about The Lemon Drop Kid. Just ordered it - I love Bob Hope! I'm with you on the castle thing!
Here's hoping both you and Julie rock the charts! And thanks for stopping by. I lived in Heliopolis for a year, learned enough Arabic to get around and thoroughly enjoyed our year, including the trip to Luxor. Hope you get to visit Scotland. It's indeed gorgeous, but try not to land there on a Sunday as it's all very, very quiet with most stuff closed.
Scotland looks like a beautiful place to visit. I think of Highlander when I hear of Scotland. lol
One of my dream destinations is the Great Pyramids of Giza. I want to go inside and explore a bit. How cool would that be!
