Celebrate the Small Things: 8/16

Things I'm celebrating this week:

1)  The scary picture of the demon cat on my post last week did the trick -- I'm writing so he doesn't come get me!
2)  I've finished Chapter 4 in my WIP; that's about 10k words so far, and I'll be starting Chapter 5 tomorrow.
3)  My CPs are so encouraging.  They ROCK!
4)  Thanks to all my Facebook buddies for keeping me entertained during writing breaks ... sometimes so entertained that I don't go back to writing for quite a while.  Heh, heh, heh.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy week and much progress on your writing or whatever you're working on. :-)

This post is part of VikLit's blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things. To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is follow the link and put your name on the Mr.Linky list, and then be sure to post every Friday about something you're grateful  for that week.  It can be about writing or family or school or general life.  This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever!

Yes, it's fun to be entertained by writing buddies because they're always so very witty.

Obviously writers need two things to get them writing and keep them writing: A demon cat and a Crit Group that won't let them get away with self-pity. I have one essential ingredient, now I'm off to find that cat.

That demon cat is still scaring me! Glad to hear you are making progress on your WIP - go, go, go! :-)

Glad to hear that you are back to writing and feeling productive. I couldn't write before I left for this vacation (that's ending today), because I wasn't "feeling" the story. Now I feel rejuvenated, plus I did some research related to background on my story, and I think when I get home, I'll be able to write.

Hope you and your family are safe and well in this troubled time.

Facebook is my main distraction from working on my novel. It's too addicting.
Have a nice weekend, Lexa.
Please stay safe.

Anagram alert! WIP it good! :) Well done, Lexa. And this 'Farcebook', everyone's favourite social 'notworking' site is keeping you entertained. You know what this means? Yay, I share your posting on Farcebook!

A hopeful rest of the weekend to you.

Yeah, if that demon cat doesn't keep you on the writerly straight and narrow, I dunno what would. :-)

You have to watch those cats. It's the eyes, I think. Oh, and the sharp claws too.

Good luck with your WIP. I'm averaging maybe 300 words a day. :) Slow as a three-toed sloth.
