Celebrate the Small Things: 6/21

 Happy happy June!
I have stuuuuffff to celebrate!

1) A friend brought me suede sandals from Switzerland for my birthday (unavailable in Egypt), and they're like walking on clouds!  Ahhhh....
2) A small but annoying snafu of governmental red-tape worked itself out after 2 months.
3) A big snafu of 2-year-old red-tape has finally been fixed and some money is heading my way!
4) I started working on an outline for a new WIP yesterday, and it doesn't suck!
5) I'm still happy about my book contract and my agent!

All is right with the world!

(Ya better take a picture 'cause
this doesn't happen to me often.)

This post is part of VikLit's blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things. To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is follow the link and put your name on the Mr.Linky list, and then be sure to post every Friday about something you're grateful  for that week.  It can be about writing or family or school or general life.  This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever!

Oh, so many awesome things to celebrate! Yay you! Hope this feeling lasts a while for you. :D (Especially when it comes to not thinking your WIP outline sucks--it is soooo rare to have that mindset about our own work!)

I think half of my country is moving to Egyptian summer resorts now that summer has officially started today :) Even those scandals from previous years won't stop them to go there :)

Wow - love the sound of those sandals, still really chuffed for you re the contract (and wee bit jealous, in a good way), and a new (non-sucky) WIP outline! Fabulous!

Go you.

Isn't that "all is right with the world" feeling the BEST? Hang onto it, and have a super weekend.

That kitty in the headphones is adorable. (He must be listening to "Everything is Beautiful.")

Those sandals sound nice! Hearing about them reminds me of my mom- when she was prego w/my baby bro, in the end all she could fit her feet into were a pair of Birkenstocks, which being super comfy, wasn't all that bad. =)

Hey Lexa,

I'm ever so sorry that it has taken me this long for you to get one of my highly collectable, much loved comments. I've been so busy signing autographs for all my starstruck fans. Delusional moment over....

You have lots to be happy about and I know you will keep that focus. Oh, before I go...Argghhhh!!!...blog hops! Blog fests and blog parties and alphabet challenges! Help!! Okay, apologies for that. I feel better now. LOL
