Celebrate the Small Things: 5/31

The things that have gotten me through this annoying week:

1)  Chocolate.
2)  Air-conditioning.
3)  FB friends.
4)  A husband who occasionally makes good suggestions.
5)  The hope that next week will be better.
6)  More chocolate.
7)  Much more chocolate.  (I should  own stock in a chocolate company ... except I'd eat all my dividends.)

This post is part of VikLit's blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things. To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is follow the link and put your name on the Mr.Linky list, and then be sure to post every Friday about something you're grateful  for that week.  It can be about writing or family or school or general life.  This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever!

I hope next week is a better week for you! Chocolate definitely helps get me through life's less delightful moments too. ;)

Chocolate is certainly one of the more important parts of life. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool... I just don't trust people who say they don't like chocolate.

Ahhh, chocolate. Always there for you when you need it. Have a good weekend! :)

Hey Lexa,

And not only chocolate, your adoring 'Farcebook' friends, a husband who has been known to make good suggestions, to really help you get over an annoying week, you get a comment from me, yes me, shy, humble and modest me who has suddenly realised that he is doing a run-on sentence which if it keeps going and starts missing commas you will find that you have to eventually take a breath. And with that, I'm going to have some real chocolate, as in British chocolate! Yay!

Without hope it is impossible to wake up in the morning. Hope is what keeps me going. Chocolate helps too!

DEZMOND said...

oh, I think I'm helpless being allergic to chocolate which gives poor little moi pimples :(

VR Barkowski said...

Without hope, nothing else matters ... well except for chocolate, friends, and family. But where there's chocolate, friends and family, there's always hope.

Indulge, Lexa! This is your birthday month, chocolate comes guilt-free!

Like others, I do tend to romanticize bygone eras. However, I am so very, very grateful I live in a time of air-conditioning, Advil, and Lindt chocolates. Amen. :-D
