Celebrate the Wheel? Blogfest & Freebies

For August 8th, I'm celebrating --

Wait!!

Is it really August? Not only August but the SECOND WEEK in August?

How did that happen?

Every day I'm doing the things on my list -- blogging, returning comments, emailing, FB-ing (yes, that's a word!), doing crits for people, writing a group newsletter, reading in my genre, trying to revise my WIP, and changing the bandages on my poor toe (UGH!).  So how is it that I'm SO FAR BEHIND??

This week I'm celebrating that I keep running on my hamster wheel even if there's no end in sight...

Anyone else feel they're running and running but never getting anywhere?

Careful that hamster wheel doesn't spin you into oblivion. I think it's impossible to keep up with the online world unless it's your full-time job. think we should concentrate on moving forward, not keeping up and at that it sounds like you are a rock star!

It must be hard running with that toe of yours! I think we all feel that way sometimes. The challenge is knowing what to keep and what to drop. Have a great weekend, Lexa.

Yes, we're well into August already. No idea how that happened either.
Hope the blogfest is a big hit next week.

Time surely isn't waiting on me either! Where does it go?
Enjoy your weekend.

I honestly don't know where July went to...and I honestly don't know how most people appear to keep up with their blogging, 'FB-ing', tweeting and work. There just aren't enough hours in the day!

I hope your toe gets better soon.

Have a great weekend :)

The last thing I know it was February. No clue what's going on around here. And yes! I do feel like that wheel keeps spinning and not much to show for it, ugh. I suppose we keep running, though, right? :)

Yay for the blogfest, I hope it's a bit hit!

Between writing and painting I feel like I'm running endlessly on a hamster wheel. I'd love to have more time for reading.

I am definitely one of those who feels like she's running on a hamster wheel too. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to spring and here summer is winding down. Looking forward to the blog hop next week.

I'm like you - I can't figure out where the year has gone. And I have nothing to show for all those months that have drifted by. My hamster must have gone on vacation!

Oh boy can I relate to being far behind. I'm always asking myself, what am I forgetting?

I spent most of my life on that treadmill, but not anymore. I have found the right pace for my life now and only jump into the race when I want to. I have earned this time of life.

We all feel like the hamster sometimes, but you've got a lot going on. I think you should give yourself some extra credit! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend.

I was thinking the same think about August! Although, it being August is the least of my problems. A few weeks ago, I almost wrote 199? on my check...so that shows you where my brains are at! LOL Happy Weekend!

It's because time is really a sentient being that LOVES messing with us. I'm convinced of it.

I sometimes feel like I'm in the wheel, but then something good happens that makes me aware that I was actually going somewhere.

Oh yes. That wheel is at my house, too. I try to take a positive look at it and say I'm burning calories so I can chow down at the International Potluck Blogfest.

I always feel like I'm running without ever getting anywhere, too. The fact that it's already August is even making me full-on flail, haha!
