Celebrate: Scandal in Puppyland & Giveaways

My friends have two dogs, but that number grew about a month ago because they had puppies. So adorable and a good reason to celebrate!

What a sweet family they made.

UNTIL ...

The puppies got bigger and bigger,
and their ears got droopier and droopier.

And then their fur started getting curly!

Whaaa??

Meanwhile, at the house next door lurks
Snidely Whiplash -- er -- Pooky,
the next door neighbor's Cocker Spaniel.

Look at those droopy ears!

No! It couldn't be!
Lily? How could you?!

Lily continues to deny any wrong doing.
Mickey and Lily are currently seeing a marriage counselor.

And those pups' floppy ears remain a mystery...

What do you think ? Should Lily be in the dog-house?

Puppies, puppies, puppies!

Maybe the parents each have a recessive droopy-eared gene, who knows? Enjoy the mystery--and your weekend.

What I think is that it's a good thing you're not standing here in front of me with one of those puppies!

Naughty Lily. Although the puppies are quite adorable. This was so fun, I read it to the family.

I'd have to say Lily tramped around. They are adorable though.

Very cute pups! We used to have a bright Jack Russell terrier, Jenna. Next door lived a not-so-bright terrier, Sam. Jenna had to dig her way to him under the fence because he was too dumb to find his way to the lady of his dreams. Mum described Jenna as a POW from an old war movie...

Oh they are such cute puppies but I think she was a bad girl. She must have fell for his beautiful curly coat.have a lovely weekend! And happy St. Patrick's Day!

What? You're putting the blame on the girl? Poor Lily! That Pooky has shifty eyes, I say. Very shifty eyes. Oh, the drama!

LOL That is funny and the puppies are adorable.

They are soooo adorable! There could be some stepping out going on.

What does the cat think? Cute puppies. Thanks for adding my sample chapters IF to Foxy's list.

It would be easier to be mad at Lily if those pups weren't so cute.

What gorgeous pups! Who cares who the daddy is?

Well, we don't know the whole story, do we? If Lily is keeping quiet and Mickey isn't upset maybe we should leave them to work it out for themselves. As for Pooky, if he's a gentledog he will keep to his own yard and mind his own business. Cute pups where ever they came from.

The pups are part Lily, and part sneaky dog next door!

I love this post (because there are an abundance of both dogs and puppies). Thank you for sharing!

I think Lily and whoever the father is should kindly explain to their owners that if animals aren't neutered...well...this is the result. Equal blame falls to the owners for A)not neutering B)being unaware their female dog was in heat and C)not knowing that any male dog within a 1 mile radius knows when there's a female dog looking for some fun.

Good thing puppies are cute! And I'd also say it looks like the next door neighbor's dog might've come over to say hi to Lily...

Jenny Baranick said...

Personally, I'm surprised that a dog with a name like Pooky gets any action!

Heather R. Holden said...

Aw, those puppies are so precious! And LOL, maybe Mickey and Lily have an open relationship... XD

Ha, ha! Love it. Shh, Lily. Your secret. Adorable puppies.

LOL! The puppies are adorable either way.

I need a puppy now but I know I can't have one. I needed to smile now and your post gave me that.

Enjoyed the puppy story. So cute!

PUPPIES!!!!!! They are so stinkin' ADORABLE! And yeah, methinks something is afoot with the neighbor dog... ;) But oh so CUTE!!! :)

Sheena-kay Graham said...

Can the neighbors be reached for comment? I'd love to see that post. Maybe they'll ask for a puppy for 'family extension reasons'. Lily had the babies and that's really her only job. Who knows what kind of arrangement she and her dog hubby made? Pooky could be a surrogate...we humans don't speak dog. Hilarious post Lex, loved it so much.

Adorable to the nth degree. Thanks for my cute quotient for the day! :)

My kids are just now old enough that I'd consider getting a puppy. Up til this point, even getting another house plant was too overwhelming!

Lexa, It sounds like Lily might be a little tramp. It's a good thing she and Mickey are seeing a marriage counselor. There's still hope in saving their relationship! lol I invite you to visit Curious as a Cathy for a little mewsic and learn about my AprilA2Z challenge theme reveal!

Congrats to Lilly. A fling puts bells on your toes and gives your spirit a lift. Others just have to forget to judge. :-)

Besides, who couldn't love those puppies!

LD Masterson said...

Our little Sandy was the daughter of a champion show-dog Cocker Spaniel mom - whose owners were getting ready to breed with a champion show-dog Cocker Spaniel dad - and a sneaky little sucker who got through their back yard fence. Needless to say, mom's owners were not pleased but the puppies all found good homes.

Luckily, the family moved away before Sandy grew into the spitting image of her long haired terrier father, who used to roam the neighborhood looking for gaps in back yard fences. His owner never saw a problem with his little roving stud.

Was that a pic of the actual puppies? They're adorable, no matter who the father is. :)
