Celebrating: Vacation

I'm celebrating vacation time!!
I'm smiling as big as the ones in the above picture -
although I'm not sure which I resemble most...

Have a wonderful week, everyone, and I'll be back in mid-September!

Have you taken a vacation this summer?  Did you go anywhere or was it a "stay-cation"?

This post is part of VikLit's blog hop, Celebrate the Small Things. To be part of this blog hop, all you have to do is follow the link and put your name on the Mr.Linky list, and then be sure to post every Friday about something you're grateful  for that week.  It can be about writing or family or school or general life.  This is the funnest and easiest blog hop ever!

I hope you have a wonderful time. As for me, we went to Thailand and Cambodia in March to avoid the heat. No more vacations until next year.

Have a great vacation, Lex! Great picture.

In terms of my vacation, I stayed home. I edited and hung out this year. Although I missed having an adventure, I got so much editing/revising done.

*LOL* Love that picture! Enjoy your vacation. I don't get vacations since the little time off my husband does get is spent visiting family.

Happy vacation to you! It sounds like you will get to have lots of fun and I know the break will be great for you.

I did go away this summer- once to a small island called Nantucket off the coast of Massachusetts- which was VERY relaxing. Then I went on a camping trip to Tennessee and Kentucky (and a few other states)- it was also fun, but not quite as relaxing (I just got home and I am getting ready to start a new job- so I had a lot on my mind). :)

Have fun!

Hope you're having a lovely vacation!

I think my favorite thing about that picture is that the monkey seems to be wearing a larger swim suit than the kid.

We will miss you, Lexa! My boyfriend and I went to Cozumel a couple of weeks ago. It was AMAZING! If you haven't been there, I highly suggest you go. I blogged about it and left a lot of feedback on my last post=)

Not sure which one you resemble either...if it's the monkey, might I suggest a visit to the waxer before hitting the pool or beach?
