IWSG: Happy Birthday!

Although I've only been in
the Insecure Writer's Support Group for a year,
it's been a real pleasure.

Huge thanks to Alex
and all the generous members of our community
who share their aggravations, fears, hopes, and dreams to support others.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY
TO ALEX CAVANAUGH'S
INSECURE WRITER'S SUPPORT GROUP!!!

This is a post for the Insecure Writer's Support Group, the brainchild of Alex J. Cavanaugh. It exists so the community of blogging writers can share and support each other, blog-hopping to cheerlead and commiserate. To find out more, visit: Insecure Writer's Support Group.

Probably never thought you had a year's worth of writer's insecurities when you first joined the group, did you? With all the insecurities associated with writing, IWSG will probably go on for another ten years.

Insecure and writer are two words that certainly go together- sorta like peanut butter and jelly. Happy Birthday to Alex's brainchild!

It's a great coming together of neurotic writers. Seems we never run out of insecurities to talk about. :)

Congratulations, even though your writing doesn't seem to contain anything you'd need to feel insecure about.

Woot, woot! I love your birthday images. Best ones I've seen thus far. (Shh, don't tell the others--unless you need bragging rights to pick up your spirits.)

It's hard to believe it's been two years!

Yo Lexa!

Ah yes, a happy birthday to that "I Was Seeking Gary" group! What? I got that wrong? Yeah, cool on y'all being two years old. And y'all who like to pawticipate, all the beast, um best!

Stay chillin',

I know, can you believe it will have it's own blog? I dunno if I'm more baffled by that fact or the fact that it took three years to do so? Love that picture Lexa. :D XX

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of this group. So glad it's done so well.

I only just joined the ISWG today, so I'm sampling all these blogs at random. THis post doesn't have much to comment on so I went ahead and read the post below it, which I found, frankly, mystifying.

"Line edits?" This is not a thing that I know about, or even a thing that I knew existed. So what am I to make of this? Usually I'm extremely jealous of authors who have been published (I take out my jealousy in the most passive-aggressive/delicious way possible: by eating pizza) but now I find out that published authors have to do something called "line editing," and also I already ate pizza today, for lunch, so I'm really in a quandary here. Should I be jealous of you, or not?

*flips coins*

*coin rolls off hand, falls under desk, he is about to get it when he notices that there is an entire Butterfinger candy bar on the occasional table in his office*

MORE QUANDARY.

I've bookmarked your blog. I plan on coming back here frequently. As for the line editing? I barely edit my stuff as it is. So... I forget the question.
